I've done some brief testing on Win7 32-bit. I did manage to get the
menu items Project|Git Gui and Project|Git Status to appear once, but
can't get them back anymore. When they did appear the Git Gui item
didn't appear to do anything and the Git Status item opened an empty
view window.
