Assuming that when you look at your server settings, you see the correct current path, the next thing I'd suggest is to check your playlists. If they refer to old paths, the scanner will go through them. This includes m3U files that might be included with your music files when you did the original rips from CD. Are you using iTunes or MusicIP integration?
