Thanks kdf...nil nada, don't see anything wrong with the files and editing them with several tools didn't have any effect...
How do I run the debug mode you note? I am not on Windows, this is Linux... (ClarkConnect flavor of Red Hat) This is on SS7 though I saw something similar on SS6. Another odd symptom; when sorting by Artist, Album, most ordering looks good, except an album by Al Di Meola. Folder name and artist tag is set to "Di Meola, Al", but the sorting is in A and the tooltip reads "World Sinfonia by Al Di Meola". It the only album I see so effected, though I have not yet searched thoroughly. I'd be more than happy to help debug if you can point me down a path. I'm very software saavy but a linux newbee. kdf;227897 Wrote: > If you can't find anything common by looking at the files, try adding > running the scanner with the artwork debug enabled so you can see what > the server says about artwork when it gets to those albums. > > for slimserver 6: > c:\program files\slimserver\server\scanner.exe --d_artwork --wipe > <c:\path\to\your\music> > > slimerver 7: > c:\program files\slimerver\server\scanner.exe --debug artwork --wipe > <c:\path\to\music> > > > You can even point in straight to one of the bad folders for a shorter > scan, but you will have to do another full scan later to get your full > library back. > -kdf -- NatureDude ------------------------------------------------------------------------ NatureDude's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12104 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38279 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
