That's fairly normal. It's a beast. Are you running a lot of plugins? Mine tends to flatten out at about 90MB with only a few plugins. It might be a little library size dependant. When you browse down to it through the directory tree the new album will be scanned and added to the library. Unfortunately, artwork thumbnails won't be created when you do this. For more than a few albums, and if you want thumbnails, your only choice is to run a scan.
