thanks a lot to all the feedback. michael, I cant reproduce the redraw error in IE 7.0.6001.16633. the SP1 is still beta'ed. i guess beta on beta on beta just makes for some interesting quirks every now and then. no error flag at the bottom thou, that much i can recall from memory. (I assume it had nothing to do with SC, I probably just had too many processes using all resources and my gc couldnt keep up with refreshing the screen fast enough)
just to finish this up: - does anyone know when softsqueeze will be updated? - I tried multiple ways to solve that "settings for sync do not stick" problem. no luck. strangely thou it seems more cosmetic I think. the players stay sync even thou the settings page per player does say "no syncronisation". would be nice thou, if that would stick and show when one checks configuration basically, I think SC is fantastic. for me there's only 2 things left I consider worth looking into (feature wise); - I dont think my set-up is that exotic. looking at the most used competing product (itunes), it has the possibility to play right on your box and stream to airports or those useless apple tvs at the same time, insync and without the need of an additional tool/player.
