If I'm remembering right, the original motivation for the development of a plug-in manager was to address the fact that 3rd party plug-ins are a major source of instability in the current release branch. Correct?
So, I suppose that, since 5.x and 6.x plug-ins don't work with version 7, then a lot of that problem "just goes away" since users can't install bad old plug-ins that haven't been rewritten for version 7. Also, not making it easier for users to add 3rd party plug-ins will probably forestall the destabilizing of a lot of newby systems too. If that reasoning is correct, then I can see your point that this should be lower priority. -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40200 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
