There really hasn't been any work done on the plug-in manager yet, has there? I thought that this was supposed to be one of the big new features of version 7. I take it that this is seen as a much lower priority now. Don't get me wrong...I've been using version 7 for the better part of a year now and I'll be very happy to see a released version. But I'm curious as to why such a major component has been cut from the release. Has the developers' thinking evolved on this? Is it now perceived as too hard to implement? What's driving this release?
