not quite as much as it used to.  Much more of the plugin API  
protects the
server from crashes. the plugins, instead, fail to load or the task  
is blocked.
This may sometimes end up looking like nothing is happening in the UI,
but it won't have crashed like it used to.

it's a open-writeable wiki, so it's not a case of promotion or  
recommendation.
A rating system might be an idea, but nothing is in place to prevent  
users/authors
from entering false ratings, either outright or affecting the average.
