Settings never have been stored in the Plugins folder. > Doesn't this change mean none of the plugins will work now? No. Plugins should never care about the place where their settings are stored. They just do a call to the function to set/get a setting. This call has not changed. Only the function behind that call did change. > Also, I've read a thread that states that Slimserver is now installing > into a SqueezeCenter directory instead of the usual SlimServer > directory. This may have been for Mac OS though. However, yesterdays > Windows exe installed into Program Files/SlimServer in the normal > manner. This is definitely wrong. It should never do this. Are you sure you downloaded the latest SC7 build? > I'm asking as it really is a fair amount of work for me to configure > SC7 as I want it and I'd prefer not to do it more than once. Most of the settings should be migrated if you leave 6.5 in place before upgrading.
