Hmm, I screwed that post up then.

To add in the bits I left out.

I'm only taking about the SC7 ready plugins (Last.fm, Alien BBC, Lazy
Search and then almost all of all of Mr Hergers plugins).

I have alrady had a working SC7 up and running with these plugins, but
not really very configured. I have now wiped it and am starting from
scratch (not upgrading). I am very eager to start using the Jive remote
which seems to me to be the thing I have been waiting for for about
three years.

I reckon that SC7 is formed enough for me to use on my main machines
now... but realise that the plugins preferences directory has just been
moved so am wondering if the existing SC7 plugins will work as they were
made before the change of location of this directory.

The question was prompted when I installed Alien BBC using it's SC7
Windows exe installer. The install appeared to make a Plugins directory
under my SlimServer directory... the wierd thing being that there was
not one there already. There's always been one theere before when I've
installed SlimServer/SqueezeCentre (I think).

Michael. It looks like you are saying that SqueezeCentre should not be
installing into C:\Program Files\SlimServer. Is this correct? Mine
installtion is in this directory.

BTW. I've set SqueezeCenter to use port 9001 but this does not appear
to rewrite the shortcut so the tray icon still attempts to open it on
9000.
