I'm running the Dec 7th nightly of SC7, and if I browse Genres, and then select Various Artists, I get *all* VA albums, not just the ones with tracks for that Genre. I'm pretty sure I've seen this happen on earlier versions of SC7, but I never got around to posting. I was reminded last night when I wanted to see what I have for holiday music, remembering that a lot of them are compilations. Imagine my puzzlement when the first 'holiday' VA album listed was the soundtrack from "8 Mile"....
This issue was raised (and ignored) in this thread (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40670), but I don't recall any other discussions. I don't remember it working this way in SS 6.5.x. Have I missed a setting somewhere, or is this the intended new behavior? Or is it my tags? I do have SC set to show all tracks for an artist even if they are in a different genre, but really *all* of my VA albums are showing up, and most are definitely not the genre 'Holiday'.
