What is the connection that makes the "8 > Mile" soundtrack show up when browsing the Holiday genre? Right. You should expect NOT to see those albums if you have genre filtering set to "Only show tracks or albums that matchint the selected genre for the artist". > As an aside, I have not been filtering tracks or albums by genre because > sometimes it's fun to follow an artists "trail" that picks up the range > of different styles or genres that she/he plays, or are badly > categorized by my genre tags. This is the part I'm not understanding. You're _not_ filtering by genre? Then why do expect albums with non-matching genres to be filtered out? The setting only applies to browsing by genre. When you browse by artist or by album then there will be no filtering. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41143 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
