I have done a complete rescan, enabled the Library Statistics, selected "Group compilation albums together", set database.sql to Debug and then clicked on Home > Ambient > Various Artists. As expected my computer became unusable for almost a minute. I will open a bug report and, for what it's worth, attach the sql log file... however, I'm not too certain it provides any pointers.
