Thanks for the link. I thought about using the WRT54GL as an access
point only, but since it took the last open port on the 8-port Netgear,
I figured I'd eventually need another port (and I do need it if I want
to connect the SBR via ethernet).

I had both routers using DHCP; the Netgear dealing out 192.168.0.x IPs
and the Linksys serving up 192.168.1.x IPs. Now with the factory reset
on the Linksys, I'm not sure how it is configured.

I have SS 6.54 and SC7 running on different PCs attached to the
Netgear. They are both using static IPs. There are ethernet links to
my wife's office and to the SBs in the den and garage. I also have 3
SBs connected via homelink to the Netgear.

I guess I need to de-install the Linksys and find out what's wrong with
it. Maybe put 3rd-party firmware on it. I've had a bad time with it
since I got it (it was bought strictly to use with the SBC; I have no
other wi-fi devices). Even the set-up disc for it failed (just locks
up - not that I should need an OS-specific install disc for a network
device).

The easy answer would be to put the Linksys out with the trash. I
would miss the cool factor of the SBC, but for me, cool has always
taken a back seat to reliability and security when dealing with
computers.
