To answer Felix, yes, I tried factory resets on both the SBC and SBR. As for my network design, I have a wired 8-port Netgear router and a 4-port Linksys wi-fi router connected via a static IP from the Netgear. I'm certain the problem has something to do with the Linksys - I can no longer administer it via the web interface; the connection just fails. Still this does not answer the core question of why the old SBC/SBR combo worked with wi-fi and the new one didn't. As it stands, my network is now totally open because in troubleshooting the Linksys, I did a factory reset, so now I have an SSID of "linksys", password of "admin", and zero encryption.
