I have just had a problem with two different builds of SC7.01 for Mac, including the most recent. Scanning the library failed. After starting a rescan, clicking on "View Progress" would show the time ticking off, one box of the progress bar blackened, "(1 of 27,824)" so it sees the file tree and knows how many files there are, it shows the path of the first file in the music folder, but then hangs there, and after a few minutes says it has finished scanning with nothing found, but the progress time continues to tick off, the progress bar is still there and the path of the first file is still shown.
All of this has been resolved by downgrading to the official 7.0 release. Thought I should let you all know. -- bephillips More than 38,243 songs on 3028 albums by 2130 artists.
