michael- thanks for the info. I can easily live without some of these plugins but I do like a handful of them. that list would be:
trackstat dynamic playlist sql playlist ir blaster removedplayedsongs alien statusfirst extendedalarm so I'll troubleshoot my system by adding these plugins back in one at a time. hopefully the problem is being generated by one of the non-essential plugins.
