That's good news. Now let's find out what plugin makes the scan fail.

It's not about the number, but about what they're doing. First of all: do you 
really need all of them? If you're sure about it, then add them in the 
following (still a bit arbitrary) order, one by one. Add the first batch, see 
whether SC fails. Then the second etc., until you know where the culprit is.

The above should imho be save as I doubt they'll touch the scanning or music 
handling. Which still leaves us with a majority of your list...
