I am a software engineer as well as a squeezebox owner. I know from experience that new software designs have more bugs, not less. They have the old bugs, plus the new ones introduced in the new design. Bug free software (I there is such a thing) is only achieved by keeping the original design, rigorous testing, and methodical bug tracking, and time. I am not saying that a new design is a bad idea if the old design cannot support new features, but New Design = Less bugs Is a formula that does not compute. -- malaugh ------------------------------------------------------------------------ malaugh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17610 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62405 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
