As a long term SB user, I've mainly searched the forums to solve issues I have had. More recently I am becoming more active (some time on my hands) and trying to fathom the best way to help the community.
I echo Eland's post on commenting on bugs, but also find it difficult to find match forum threads to some bugs and vice versa. Furthermore I'm not clear if the Beta forum is for testing and reporting bugs on Beta builds or for discussing the intended functionality (inevitably some bugs will cause debate on intended functionality).
