I use MP3 tag usually. I've just looked at the album that ism always played when I select "Any Genre > Various Artists" in Foobar2000 and this reveals that "Various Artists" is set as the Album Artist.
I gave up trying to undersatand the Various Artists, Album Artist, Band TPE2 stuff a long time ago... but it seems to me that this extraneous tag notwithstanding there is a bug in SBS and that this album should not be returned as the only album for "Any Genre > Various Artists". I'll get rid of the tag now and rescan and see what happens. The album also has a lot of Discog tags which can go too. -- ModelCitizen Think the third party Squeeze plugins and applets are important?
