Having tidied the following tags, I can no longer reproduce the original
problem on eitehr Radio or SBC, which I could this morning.
removed 'empty' genre data - and 'play'ed the respective now empty
genres.
removed all 'Compilation=0'
removed all 'Compilation=1' though issue was not reproduced halfway
through Mp3Tag performing this and prior to any rescan.
The genre data was clearly being updated when the relevant 'retagged'
albums were added to the playlist, but the genres only disappeared after
the rescan.
I suspect that the bug is due to some combination of either the genre
'off-by-one' issue and/or 'Complation=0'.
ModelCitizen, do you want to try this and see if it works for you
before I update bug. Understand if changing that many tags is any issue,
in which case I'll update bug without verification.
For Reference:-
I have multiple genres in my tags (';' separated in a single tag)
I have altered the default artist for compilations to Z Various Auto
(this sorts them at end and is distinct from Various Artists, helping
identify inappropriate AlbumArtist='Various Artists').
I don't have AlbumArtist='Various Artist' anywhere.

Therefore any album with different artists and no AlbumArtist will be
defined by SBS as a compilation and I don't need that tag
