I've brought this up before during the long discussions on what to do about the lack of a dedicated snooze button, but I'll bring it up again: The power button can be used to stop the music (and hence the alarm mode), but I do agree that a popup that shows the time in a much bigger font (which the popup supplies) is a good thing. *However* -- the option to turn off the alarm via the big button should be removed, as a flailing arm while asleep could easily rotate the knob first and, when pushed, could turn off the alarm rather than snooze if snooze has been navigated away from. Not a good thing in the morning. Granted you do hear little blips when you turn the knob, but again when you're coming out of sleep you may not realize it.
