I thought it was not going to take long, because I didn't have any music in my music library.
With previous attempts at getting a scan in 7.6, I didn't want to mess around too much with killing processes and restarting, etc. I wanted to let it run to the end to do any necessary tidying up, setting preferences, swapping db files over, etc. >So now that the initial scan has complete, are you able to make the >necessary settings changes and run another full scan using the correct >library location? I gave up and killed the job eventually ;-) After 1.5 hours, seeing that a scan was supposedly complete in the log, but not in the WebUI and could hear my disk thrashing around still, I stopped SBS and returned to 7.5 so that I had an alarm clock and music to listen to (it was getting late). I plan to have another go, this time doing a migration from 7.5 prefs to 7.6, with SBS password protection removed. _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
