If it seems to log a lot of tag values, you are in the "Custom Tag"
process, the "Mixed Tag" process doesn't log any tag information. The
"Mixed Tag" should be a lot faster than "Custom Tag", at least that was
the case with MySQL.

Depends on which tags you have configured "Custom Tag" to scan. Unless
you use some unusual tag I suspect you don't need to use the raw
option. However, I'm not sure how much difference it will make in
performance.

It will currently scan the whole library and there isn't any way to
limit it.
It would be possible to implement new/changed scanning in 7.6 but I
haven't decided when/if I'll do that yet.
