I tried pointing a media folder to a folder which contains my MPG
recordings from MythTV and then it just crashes immediately.
Seems to be related to the MPG files produced by MythTV because it
crashes also if I just put one of them in a separate folder and
configure that folder as a media folder. I'm not sure the MythTV files
contains any metadata but it shouldn't crash the scanner completely if
you just accidentally have one of them in one of the media folders.
Any way I can provide more information to help debugging ?
Is there a Linux tool to check for metadata in mpg files ? There isn't
any ID3 tags according to id3v2 but I'm guessing MPG files maybe uses
something else ?
