I haven't done any timing tests as a comparison, because it didn't seem to
matter what I search for, the old search results return within milliseconds, so
I see no discernable difference.
Actually, the rendering of the live search results panel with mini artwork does
seem to make the new live search slower to me, and if you're in the habit of
typing and pressing return to get the usual old search results page up, it must
be slower, as it is running live search after each keypress and then the normal
search behaviour as well!
But it is potentially quite nice, a few UI niggles to iron out (see other post).
