The albums will appear under their album artist name, for compilations this is likely to be Various Artists, but could be whatever name set in the album artist tag. Why also include a link called "Various Artists" in he list of artists that takes you to the collection of all compilations, which could have a mixture of album artist names?
After all, there isn't a link to "Genres", "Years", or anything else within the artists list.
