Exactly a point i have made n the past - I have a few albums by unknown collection of performing artists, and labelled that album as being by "Various Artists". This doesn't mean its a compilation, as the same unknown collection of artists perform on every track. So I should be able to see this album without it appearing within a list of compilation albums.
There shouldn't be an expectation that browsing to "Various Artists" means display a list of compilation albums.
