After playing with some AC-3/Dolby Digital files yesterday, I realized that the Default Adjustment for Remote Streams is being applied to files played via Disks and folders. Or maybe "assumed" is more accurate than "realized" since I don't know for sure, only that the files wouldn't decode when played via Discs and folders but would when placed in the library.
Ouch... yeah, the trick I applied to make those tracks not being stored in the DB is by pretending they were remote tracks. I'll have to apply some exceptions here and there. Did anyone file a bug report?
If this is the intended behavior, I'm really not complaining. It probably helps others more than it hurts me. If it's not intended, then I'm letting you know. :)
