Oh, wow. You're right. Easily confirmed by setting the remote gain to an extreme, such as -20. Queue a local song via 'Disks and Folders' and then queue the same song via some other browse method. Play them both and they'll be at markedly different volumes. I have to think this is unintended. Probably something in the logic that doesn't recognize 'Disks and Folders' as being local music.
