> If new howabout TTR? If you are looking for something comparable to Puerto Rico in complexity, Ticket to Ride is going to seem like a pretty big stop down. Its a good game to play with family, but it's pretty light.
I like Caylus Magna Carta as well. I think I somewhat prefer Caylus, but Magna Carta is definitely a simpler game to teach. I think the games are different enough that you could own both of them. Power Grid is also good. Complex and a very different game from anything else we've been discussing. Agricola may also be a good fit, and it shares some similarities to Caylus.
