It's a little worse than usual of late, true, but I don't really mind. The site is suffering from major growing pains and code refactorings to allow all those nifty features its users demand---there's probably still a lot of old(er) code waiting to be cleaned up. And the database model needs some updates in the future too, so there's probably going to be more scheduled outages.
