Some newbie questions: 1) maybe I'm missing something here but I try to keep one single file for bibliography. I tried putting an alias of this file into the folders for different publications but TeXShop doesn't follow the alias so I've had to put the whole biblio into each folder one at a time. This led to complex overlapping bib files as I accidentally updated the 'child' versions etc etc. Is it possible to use Bibdesk to update several at once? is there a better workflow? Is there a sensible limit on the size? breaking into subfiles is, frankly, a pain.
2) also, Bibdesk (which I've dipped into from time to time and only started using a lot recently) is creating smart folders based on keywords. I now have hundreds of these. I'd rather delete them and have only those I choose (like iTunes, say). can I do that? I don't see any settings... 3) what's the deal with the BBEdit auto-complete scripts? are they still current? I can't get them to work...:-). if I'm told they should, then will try again and post proper report... any help for a newbie gratefully received... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
