I tried and tried and tried again.
reinstalled lyx and the script... sendtolyx from the menu item works  
flawlessly with lyx 1.5 and 1.6rc3
that's what I need, but I guess I adopted a "Windows" strategy.
For whover has knowledge of Machiavelli, I reached my target.
