Than it shouldn't be conneced to the bibtex style.
However you DO have some undefined command. I don't know where you got

You don't 'need' anything. Or in other words: you need to define what
you use... and as I don't know what kind of data you use, there's
nothing I can say about that.

Best is to put .sty files in a standard location where tex can find
it. However where this is depends on your tex distribution... in my
case it's in ~/Library/texmf/tex.
