It depends on how you're traveling. You can quickly break it in two to
get it into a small trunk, but if you're flying with it, you'll need
to remove the wheels and pack it into a suitcase. There are bike
travel cases around that fit within the standard airline sizing;
you'll be taking off the bars, pedals, seat and wheels to fit a bike
in there, and re-assemble after you arrive. I don't have a travel bike
myself, but i've heard from a couple of people who travel with other
coupled bikes that they didn't feel that the cable couplers were
really required.
