Maybe it isn't the TYPE of saddle but how it is adjusted. Small changes can make a huge difference in the comfort: tilt up or down a bit move forward or back up or down My 5-year-old commuter bike gets used almost every day. Every once in awhile it seems the seat gets uncomfortable. That means the seat has slipped down a bit and I'm putting too much weight on the seat, and not enough on the pedals. Whew! What a difference when I adjust it again. Go to a good, reliable, local, nice, friendly bike shop and ask them for help. Especially this time of year, someone should be able to give you some time and advice. "Never doubt that a small group of dedicated individuals working together can change the world.
