Do you have the percentage of commuters into Madison/Dane County from
outside the county?  I know this number is readily available.  I think Mike
is correct that most people from outside the county are not walking or
bicycling, but even if we added all the non-county residents into the Dane
County totals as "Drove alone" and "Carpooled," I don't think it would
change the numbers that much.  Unless 40% or more of all commuters are from
outside the county, I think I get Mike's bike (%age needed to water down the
1.7% figure to less than 1.0%).
