Robbie, Thanks for the update. I'm wondering if the city and the University could work together in solving the problem. Other than all the political crap, possibly it can be looked into.
There are also side streets and alleys with some bike racks that could be extended. Also, two blocks does not sound like a big deal to walk. Someone driving downtown shouldn't expect to park right next to any particular location and maybe bicyclists shouldn't expect the same either? I don't mind a short walk but others may feel differently. I believe in giving peds/bikes more incentives than auto's but with limited space, we may need to sacrifice and talk a short walk.
