Does anyone know how to get something put on the agenda for the PBMVC? Blocking off the wide lane would seem to be a very reasonable action, and PBMVC should start the ball rolling.
There are a couple of ways to bring this to the city's attention. As Tim knows from Transit and Parking (but may not have every been present to observe) at every committee, including the PBMVC, there is a public comment period at the very beginning of the meeting. This is for the public to bring up issues that do not appear on the agenda. One use for this public comment period is to ask that something be put on a future agenda.
You can also contact the chair of the committee, or any committee member, to ask that they put it on the agenda. In the case of the PBMVC, the chair is Mark Shahan, who is on this list. As with the rest of us, he may not get a chance to read every message as soon as it is posted, so you may want to send him a message directly. Mark's email is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
In case anyone wants to know who to contact on any other committee, or just to see what committees are doing, you can look at agenda, minutes, and committee/commission composition here:
