The types of crashes you described don't just happen at one way streets. They can happen at any intersection if the driver is turning right.

The car was heading toward Eastwood/Atwood from the Jenifer Street Market direction, came to a stop at the intersection, then started to turn right. I was on the bike path, heading west. The car started to move just as I entered the intersection. She hadn't looked to her right to check for traffic because the motor vehicle street is one-way there.
