If you are referring to the northern portion of the Badger State Trail - from the SW Path and Capital City Trail to ??? Purcell Rd ??? - that project is awaiting state funding. It was rated very high in the biennial listings that the Metropolitan Planning Organization submits to the state, however there is way too little money alloted for these projects. Dane County alone (or even just Madison) could use all the money that is budgeted for all of Wisconsin.
