Hello all,
Excellent points Frank!
I've got an idea, let's use our collective advocacy as Bikies and create a
movement to do what we can to get this done Asap. Frank's right, it doesn't
have to be paved...and it would be such an asset for Fitchburg, the nearby
residents and eco tourism for Madison. Fund raising, speaking to the DNR,
other ways to help...let's put our action where our mouths are and help make it
happen. I'm in to help both time wise and monetarily! Anyone think this is a
good enough idea to move on it? It would be fun to have some action and good
policy impact!

2010?!?! Can't somebody get down there with a couple brush cutters and a
bobcat for a day or two so it is at least passable in the mean time?!? It
seems ridiculous that we should have to wait so long for what will probably be
the most used section of trail when the rest of the trails though rural areas
and small towns is already complete. Does it have to be paved? Why spend the
money? Why not just limestone or gravel... at least for the interim. Seems
like a lot of hassle and red tape. Fitchburg doesn't seem to take so long to
build new roads within subdivisions.
