Too bad Dave Zweifel took an either or, rails or trails, perspective. Rails and trails can coexist in the same corridor. He needed to look no further than his own back yard here is Madison to understand this. The Capital City Path coexists within the active rail corridor from Marquette Street to Cottage Grove Road. The Blackhawk Path is within an active rail corridor along the Blackhawk Golf Course in Shorewood Hills.
