They used to require IDs before the cards had magnetic strips. I would just
flip my wallet open and have the pass and ID showing. Now, with having to scan
the card and show the ID, it's going to be somewhat of a minor inconvenience
and bus loading may take longer. Super.

Starting Monday, November 12, bus drivers will be requesting employment and
school Photo IDs for riders boarding with an unlimited pass. Passengers without
a valid ID will have their passes confiscated. Metro Transit staff are
addressing concerns that have been raised regarding the fraudulent use of its
