I wasn't aware that the sound was a turn signal, I thought it had something to do with indicating its arrival or departure from a bus stop, but either way I don't see (or hear) any problem with it If this is the most important thing a few malcontents in a neighbourhood association can find to complain about, things must be going pretty well there. I live fairly close to a bus stop and I do hear the audible signal and it has never bothered me.
