I would call it unrideable right now. I rode PB to Franklin on Tuesday and it was dry, but so rutted that I wouldn't suggest riding it to anyone. This was unloaded with 32c tires. I do think paving is the long-term answer for this stretch, but agree that some grooming and addition of gravel would improve things significantly. This has happened at least the last three spring seasons.
