Really?  If behind the wheel would you still really assume that motorists
in Madison actually pay attention to such signs?  Personally have never had
this experience and have cycled the trail literally thousands of times.
However, to think that Madison motorists would follow such rules is simply
naive.  To quote Clint Eastwood in Million Dollar Baby, rule #1 : Protect
yourself at ALL times.  This is good advice for motorists and cyclists as
well, especially in Madison.
