Tim:
My previous post should have answered that. Motor bikes are currently banned from bike ways. Obviously there's no enforcement, which is an issue. There is another ongoing issue with DNR, which, through administrative rule, and which is under challenge, has decided to to allow motor bikes on state trails as long as they don't exceed 15 mph. The jury is still out on this.

What can we do to make sure these motorized "bicycles" are outlawed from bike paths? I was just entering one of the east side bike paths and one of these monsters sped by almost silently, going at least 20 mph, if not faster. Don't bike paths specifically outlaw motor vehicles, including these monstrosities?

It is kind of a shallow survey, but it's nice to see there's
enough interest to even do it. Might lead to bigger and better things.

Word is the fleet of BCYLES may be headed toward being
motorized. Legislation is being prepared to allow that to happen.

I started doing this survey, but it is so poorly designed, the
answer I would put for the questions were almost never there,
        i.e., since I don't use B-Cycle, whatever that is, I couldn't
say "never" to the question of how often do I use it?

Earlier this year I was fined $1221 by the city for having
wildflowers in my terrace and a burning bush in my yard.
My trial occurred more than three months after the city
council unanimously approved the "Pollinator Protection Task
Force" report which seeks to protect pollinators--bees,
butterflies, moths, bats, hummingbirds, etc., and preserve
pollinator habitat But the city's Building Inspection
Division didn't get the "memo" and continues to order
pollinator habitat removed and prosecutes people who don't
comply. If you feel the ordinances on the books should be
        amended, sign my petition:
